Bachelor of Science in Applied Social Sciences

A BS in Applied Social Sciences with a major in Applied Social Research (ASO) equips you with the skills necessary to design, conduct, interpret, evaluate and present quantitative and qualitative research integral to understanding complex social phenomena and prepares you for a number of in-demand careers including:

  • Economic and Social Data Consultant
  • Evaluation and Assessment Specialist (businesses, financial institutions, city/state offices, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, marketing/survey research firms)

We support many Oxford-based majors, minors, and thematic sequences. Although you can't fully complete these at the Regionals, you can take advantage of the flexibility, convenience, and affordability before relocating to Oxford or transferring to another institution.
