Miami Receives Lifesaving Ambassador Award
Miami recently received the silver level Lifesaving Ambassador Award from the Community Blood Center (CBC). The CBC collaborates closely with student activities and the Cliff Alexander office of fraternity and sorority life in connecting to student organizations and staff with blood drives on campus.

Campus Care Program Aims to Increase Access to Mental Health Services
A new student counseling service outreach program aims to give students increased access to mental health services this year by placing counselors in locations around campus (e.g. King Library, Farmer School of Business) during designated hours.

Winter Term Registration
Registration for Winter Term 2020 is open for all continuing students. New students can register beginning Monday, September 16, starting at 9 a.m. All students may register for up to six credit hours; requests for more than six credit hours must be made to your academic divisional advising office. Safety, sexual violence prevention receive federal support
With a three-year $300,000 federal grant and a two-year commitment with a national student affairs group, Miami University is greatly strengthening its prevention, education and response in areas of sexual and interpersonal violence (SIV).

Three renovated residence halls offer accessibility, open spaces and more
Renovations to MacCracken, Richard and Porter halls included updating the grounds and outdoor gathering spaces.Some Miami University students coming back to campus this month will be living in newly renovated residence halls.

Welcome Weekend and the First 50 Days
Welcome Weekend and the First 50 Days kicks off on Thursday, August 22 with the First Night Block Party at the Rec Center quad. Students in the Class of 2023 will come together as a class for the first time as they become part of the Miami community.
