Undergraduate Open House

The department's annual Open House for prospective undergraduates will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017. This is a great opportunity for students interested in majoring in chemistry or biochemistry to see our facilities, ask burning questions, and meet with current faculty and students in an informal setting. The open house follows one of the Make It Miami sessions (on Friday, April 7), so visiting prospective students and their families can spend a couple of days in the area and learn what we have to offer.

Summer REU Program

The department is currently accepting applications for our Research Experiences for Undergraduates program funded by the National Science Foundation. The program is open to students enrolled at any US college or university and will be held May 31–August 4, 2017.
