Jim Gaffigan: White Bread TourFamily Weekend Entertainment

Come see the man that The Wall Street Journal has named "The King of (Clean) Comedy"!

The famously pasty JIM GAFFIGAN is bringing his White Bread Tour to Millett Hall for Family Weekend. With both a book (Dad is Fat) and a comedy album (Mr. Universe) on current best-seller lists, tickets are going fast, so be sure to get yours today!

Profits from the annual Family Weekend show provide a significant source of financial support for the Performing Arts Series.

More About Jim:

Known widely for his thoughts about Hot Pockets, bacon and the funny parts of parenting, his clever style and witty asides have driven his CDs and DVDs to platinum sales (his newest album, Mr. Universe, has spent 48 weeks on Billboard's Top Comedy Albums list [as of Aug. 5]). Gaffigan had recurring roles in both That 70s Show and Ed, and is a frequent guest on latenight's Conan and Letterman. His writing and voice work on the animated shorts “Pale Force” with Conan O'Brian led to nominations for both a Broadband Emmy and a Webby Award.

Dad is Fat, his new best-selling book, owes its title to the first sentence his son ever wrote on a dry erase board. Explaining the story to John Oliver on The Daily Show, Gaffigan said, "he showed it to me and then I put him up for adoption." In the book, the comedian professes both the joys and the dreads of parenting five "pale creatures" with his wife in a two-bedroom New York City apartment.
