Now in its 30th year, the Schmidt Youth Vocal Competition is open to talented young singers who are currently in their sophomore, junior or senior year in high school. The competition awards over $150,000 in prizes and scholarships.
Miami University is proud to host the November 19 competition. Applications are accepted until Nov. 5, 2016.
Priority consideration for admission, merit scholarships, and selection for the University Academic Scholars Program, the University Honors Program, and other competitive admission programs will be given to students completing all Miami University application requirements by December 1.
