From 1971 to 2007 the Laws, Hall and Associates (LH&A) program gave students from marketing, graphic design and communications the chance to develop integrated advertising and promotion campaigns for over 80 client companies and organizations.

In 2008, Highwire Brand Studio was introduced to build on the success of LH&A by expanding the focus of the projects to include all aspects of branding. To date, Highwire students from marketing, graphic design and other Miami disciplines have worked with 20 client brands, including Procter and Gamble (Pringles, Pantene, and Olay), Nestlé (Toll House and Purina), Pepsi, Midas, Hasbro, Microban, Total Quality Logistics, GM Goodwrench, Tesco supermarkets, Schneider Electric, New Chapter and Miami University.

Highwire is a semester-long, senior capstone course open to any Miami student from any major, pending acceptance based on an application review process. Applications for the fall semester project are accepted in early March and applications for the spring semester project are accepted in early October. A link to the application site will be available on this page when applications are being accepted.
