Message from Dean Rubin

Welcome home! As a proud Miami alumnus and a Miami merger, one of the things I value most highly is my continued connection to past classmates and professors. These bonds didn’t end with my graduation – if anything, they have strengthened over the years. I am also so very pleased when Farmer School graduates call, write or stop in.  Any opportunity to engage our alumni is always very enjoyable.

If you haven’t toured our building, I urge you to connect on your next Oxford trip. You’ll see some familiar faces and meet some new faculty members – all of whom share the love of teaching and passion for excellence that make this such a special place. I think you’ll also be impressed by our students. They are articulate, professional and eager to engage with our alumni.

I look forward to hearing about your career and to seeing you back in Oxford as a visitor, speaker, mentor, recruiter, attending an event, or even introducing the next generation to the magic of the Farmer School.

We will continue to seek ways to make you proud to be a part of the Farmer School family and hope that you will seek additional ways to connect and engage with us; in person, on Facebook, Twitter or this website. Let us know if you would be interested in hosting an FSB alumni event in your community.  We know not everyone is fortunate enough to return to Oxford, and we would be excited to meet in your town as well.  If you’d like to receive our electronic newsletter, please contact us at deanofbusiness@miamioh.edu and provide us with your name and e-mail address.

Best wishes,
