Biography

Dr. Davis received both his bachelor's and his Ph.D. in economics from Southern Methodist University. He taught at SMU for a year before coming to Miami University in 1985. He was appointed Chair of the Department of Economics in 2005.

Professor Davis has published articles on the effects of inflation uncertainty, monetary history, and other topics in money and macroeconomics.
