Biography

Emily Akil is an Academic Advisor in the Farmer School of Business. In this role, she assists business students with major and career exploration, course selection and registration, and academic planning. Emily also supports incoming transfer students to FSB and serves as the Business School liaison for Miami University Military-affiliated students as well as the liaison to the Economics department. Emily completed both her undergraduate degree in Visual Journalism and master's degree is Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel at Kent State University.
