Biography
David Leonard’s career at Miami University began in 1974 after earning a B.S. and M.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, when he served as an instructor while completing his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Leonard’s areas of specialization are investments and international portfolio management as evidence by his publications in such journals as the Financial Review, International Journal of Business Research, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Business Research, Review of Economics and Business Research. Among his more recent teaching awards is recognition as an Associated Student Government Honored Professor in 2001 and 2005.
