Biography
David Marshall has been a member of the Department of Finance since 1986, when he joined as an instructor. Upon completion of his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Illinois in 1988, he was appointed Assistant Professor. He continues as a tenured Assistant Professor. His areas of specialization are real estate and investments. He has published in the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Journal, Housing Finance Review, and the Appraisal Review
Dr. Marshall was the recipient of the university's alumni association effective educator award in 2002 and received the Farmer School of Business Teaching Excellence Award in May, 2006. He earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from John Carroll University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Miami University.
