Laurens Bujold Steed, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. Dr. Steed earned her PhD from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research examines well-being in the workplace, including how individuals recover from work stress and perfectionism at work. In a second line of research, she explores how money and pay affect individual attitudes and behaviors at work. She teaches MGT 303 (Human Resource Management) and MGT 405 (Negotiations and Conflict Management). Prior to academia, she worked at a healthcare software company based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
