Bill Tucker

Bill Tucker is an Entrepreneur In Residence for the John W. Altman Institute of Entrepreneurship at Miami University.

A former executive in the commercial printing business where he held a variety of leadership positions at RR Donnelley, Bill transferred his talents to the social impact sector in 2011. As Executive Director of Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub, a Cincinnati, Ohio nonprofit, he guides the agency as it builds the capacity of startups that harness power of the marketplace to achieve social and environmental good.

Bill earned a B.A. in Marketing from Texas Tech University and is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management’s Advanced Executive Program. He is on the boards of The Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, the Women’s Business Centers of Southwest Ohio, the Leadership Council for NonprofitS, the Blue Manatee Literacy Project, and the Queen City Book Bank.

Under his leadership, Flywheel has leveraged Cincinnati’s entrepreneurial ecosystem in support of startup founders and nonprofit leaders with coaches and consultants, angel investors, philanthropists and business partners. In partnership with Miami University's John W. Altman Institute of Entrepreneurship Bill helped launch the Social Impact Fund. Hundreds of startup founders and nonprofit leaders have benefited from Flywheel programs including its accelerator programs ElevateEquity, SustainableCincy and Elevator.
