Biography

Gordon Wright joined the Finance Department as the Herbert E. Markley Visiting Executive Professor in 2022, following a 36-year Finance & Accounting career at Procter & Gamble. He retired from P&G in September 2021, as the Senior Vice President for Corporate Finance. Gordon held this role for 15 years. He was responsible for the Company's profit forecasting, strategic planning, overhead budget management, and various governance activities, including Board of Directors reporting and incentive compensation management. Gordon was also the North America Finance & Accounting organization leader, providing oversight to the overall health and career development of 650 professionals.

Prior to the Corporate Finance role, Gordon was the overall project leader for the Gillette integration and had various Finance & Accounting assignments in the business units, including 5 years based in Europe.

Gordon has a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Dickinson College and an MBA from Duke University with a concentration in Finance.
