Master of Music in Music Performance

The Master of Music in Performance degree program combines advanced performance study with formal work in music theory and history. Requirements for the degree include

  • 33 credit hours of coursework
  • a public recital
  • a research project
  • a comprehensive oral examination

To be admitted to the degree program, students must be admitted to Miami University's Graduate School and to the Department of Music. Students must audition on a major instrument from the following list:
