Keys to Career: DEI Professional Development Day

Join us for Keys to Career: DEI Professional Development Day on Saturday, October 5 in the Armstrong Student Center Pavilion to gain inside knowledge on navigating your career through the lens of identity and diverse perspectives. Learn how to strategically network with employers, leverage alumni connections, and build the cultural competencies needed to succeed in today’s global workforce. Note student registration for this event has closed. 

Breakfast and My Experience Matters Student Showcase (10 – 11 a.m.)

During breakfast, our My Experience Matters Student Showcase will feature exemplary diverse talent who have engaged in experiential learning. These experiences include internships, research, study abroad, co-ops, apprenticeships, and volunteering.

This poster session is a great opportunity to engage with your peers who have taken the first steps to launching their careers while in college.

At lunch, Akosua Boadi-Agyemang ’19, a 2022 18 of the Last 9 Honoree, will present Get in the Booth: Live Career Advice on Navigating Your First Steps.

Through this career conversation with the Senior Experiential Marketing Manager for Global Events at Microsoft HQ, you’ll discover how you can launch your career journey, no matter your major or class year.
