Charm Damon

Academic Advisor

Charm Damon first joined Miami as Visiting Faculty in the English Department in 2008. She took a few years break to build a family, and returned to teaching at Miami in 2014. Charm started her career in higher education in 2003 at Ohio State University, and has also taught in the Philippines, Thailand, and South Korea. She began her academic advising role at Miami’s Exploratory Studies Program in 2023 and joined the CAS academic advising team in December 2024. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education from the University of the Philippines, and her Master’s Degree in Foreign and Second Language Education at Ohio State University.
