Dilchoda Berdieva
Dilchoda Berdieva has teaching and research interests that include international studies, issues of the Global South, Central Asian politics, migration, and minorities.
Teaching
Dr. Berdieva teaches large sections of introductory courses in International Studies. She serves as the Lead Departmental Advisor for the ITS majors. She is the 2020 co-recipient of Miami's Faculty Excellence in Career Development Award.
Research
Dilchoda's research interests focus on the Central Asian region, including the questions of migration, identity, and minority politics.
Collaboration
Dr. Berdieva is an affiliate of the Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and a member of the Middle East, Jewish, and Islamic Studies.
Other Activities
Dilchoda Berdieva is also an Academic Advisory Board member for McGraw Hill as a manuscript reviewer.
