Research done at Miami University:

I am a member of The Language and Computation Lab, which works under the supervision of Dr. So Young Lee. I joined this lab in fall 2023 and am still an active member. Due to my participation and hard work during the 2023-2024 school year, I was promoted to lab manager for the 2024-2025 school year. We are currently during research about the relationship between prosody and musical rhythms in language perception. As lab manager, my duties include helping organize weekly meetings, communicating with current lab members, learning basic computer coding to create virtual experiments, creating experiment stimuli, recruiting participants and conducting data analysis. The lab members and I hope to present some of our research at a conference next semester.

Study abroad or away experiences while at Miami University:

I studied in Paris, France this last summer for 7 weeks with IES Abroad. This was a language immersion program, which was targeted to increase my French proficiency.
