As a proud Miami alum, my favorite activities include; mentoring graduate teaching assistants, and engaging with current pre-health students and prospective students. I also operate an internationally recognized podcast, Dr Russell Talks Patho, which has been downloaded in over 50 countries. I am an avid birder and bird-bander and my favorite projects take me to the Innovation and Cadaver labs where I study the human body and to Hueston Woods State park where I co-operate Miami's bird banding station.
