Kristan Kanorr

Assistant Director of Academic Advising

Kristan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Administration with a minor in Marketing in 2008 followed by a Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education with a minor in Executive Development for Public Service in 2010, both from Ball State University. She started her career in higher education at Indiana University East in 2012, working in a variety of areas including: academic advising for exploratory students, first-year student success coaching, student-athlete academic progress, orientation planning, and instructing first-year seminar. Kristan joined the CAS academic advising staff in March of 2015. She was promoted in December 2021 to Senior Academic Advisor, and assumed the role of Assistant Director of Academic Advising in September 2022.
