Sacha DeVroomen Bellman

Sacha DeVroomen Bellman worked for various media organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area including The Kentucky Post, Cincinnati Enquirer and Community Press.

She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at University of Kentucky, and a master's of technical & scientific communication at Miami.

Besides teaching writing and editing courses, Bellman also is the communications writer for the Department of Media, Journalism & Film and the business adviser for all Miami Student Media.

She also is the treasurer of the College Media Association. She was newsletter editor for College Media Association for more than 10 years.

Bellman won numerous awards for her writing. She has also written free-lanced articles for magazines in Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as equine and online publications.

She is co-author of "The Insiders' Guide to Cincinnati" and "Daytrips from Cincinnati."

Bellman moved to the United States from the Netherlands when she was 14. Bellman and her husband, Tom, live in Colerain Township with sons Brett and Alex.
