Sam Ribbler

Sam Ribbler has gladly shared his 30 years of experience in theatrical, concert and television production with Miami students since 2006. He teaches production theories and techniques in introductory and advanced courses. He also has taught at United Theological Seminary.

Ribbler attended Wright State and Miami University, and started in television producing educational and support programming for Wright State.

As a freelancer, Sam has worked alongside crews from NBC, CBS and Tokyo Broadcasting System. During a 16-year tenure as partner, producer and director at an independent production company, he worked on two TV series distributed on PBS. He also has produced corporate communication for regional and national clients; programs for governmental agencies; and advertising and promotional material for a variety of other clients. He has mastered a variety of program formats - from 30-second commercials and PSAs to long-form documentaries.
