Susan Baker Brehm

Dr. Baker Brehm is a speech-language pathologist whose interests include the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders. Her research also focuses on the use of respiratory training to reduce breathlessness during speech and exercise in patients with upper airway disorders. She is a Research Affiliate with the Center for Pediatric Voice Disorders at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
She earned her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Florida in 2003. She is a professor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology and served as Chair of that department for nine years. She became a CAS Associate Dean in 2022.
