Biography

Christina Haan, DMA has a widely varied musical background. She has worked as pianist/chorusmaster/assistant conductor for many musical theater and opera productions. She received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from CCM.

She has been both a solo and a collaborative artist for groups such as Portland Chamber Ensemble, Portland Civic Theater, VAE, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Kentucky Opera, Dayton Opera, Sorg/Whitewater Opera, Cincinnati Opera, as well as Knox Presbyterian Church. Her engagements have taken her to Chicago, New York, Washington, DC, England, France, Italy, Austria, and many other venues.

Having previously worked as a vocal coach/collaborative pianist at such places as CCM, OSU, Central State University, Bel Canto Northwest, Rising Star Singers Audition Program, and the CCM Lucca program, she currently teaches at Miami University of Ohio and the AIMS program in Graz, Austria.
