Research Interests
My research focuses on how family relationships, emotion processes, and biological responses to stress interact to put children and teenagers at risk for depression and anxiety. Current projects focus on the socialization and regulation of positive emotions, in particular, and my lab uses varied methodologies such as surveys, behavioral observation, salivary hormone collection, and functional near-infrared spectrometry. I am always open to collaboration with students or other faculty and can be contacted by email.
