Eric Brooks

Dr. Brooks serves as the Director of the Athletic Training Program (CAATE-accredited). He has been a BOC-certified athletic trainer since 2004 and an athletic training educator since 2009. He currently holds a license to practice athletic training in Ohio and has past licenses from Michigan and Kentucky. He has worked at The Ohio State University, Northern Kentucky University, University of Kentucky Sports Medicine, Georgetown College, and Saginaw Valley State University. Dr. Brooks is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association (GLATA), and the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association (OATA). Eric resides in Oxford with his wife, Mary, his daughter, Maggie, and son, James.

Research Interests
Dr. Brooks’ research interests include assessment and recovery of concussion with an emphasis on visual impairments. He also has an interest in assessment and rehabilitation of postural control.
