Research Interests
Jordan Goffena, Ph.D. (pronounced "Goff-Knee") conducts mixed-methods research with a focus on self-regulation/self-regulated learning, self-concept development, motivational theories of learning and performance, and generally seeks to better understand the interplay between self-regulation and motivational processes that support the process of learning across sport and education. Specifically, his research has focused largely on the development and transfer of self-regulation during skill acquisition.
