Biography

The research of Samantha Scribner, Ph.D., focuses on organizational, cultural, and political dimensions of educational leadership in school communities serving historically underserved populations. Because leadership spans formal positions, her work has focused on leadership of Latina immigrant mothers, teacher leaders, and school-level leaders. At the core of this work is an ongoing concern for how individuals and groups work to create ethical and educative school communities for all of their members.
