Sara B. Hayes

Sara has been with the former Discovery Center since 1998 and has been fortunate to collaborate with fun, dedicated, talented, and interesting undergraduate and graduate students, consultants, and staff members who have worked with or for the Center. Over the years, she has worn many hats and undertaken a wide-range of responsibilities; currently, Sara serves as the Coordinator for Operations and Finance supporting the Director and Research and Evaluation teams with fiscal and human resource planning. She also works closely with the Center’s Professional Learning Teams by managing grant, administrative, and university required forms and procedures. Sara has a background in science with a B.A. from Earlham College and has furthered her knowledge of education with an Educational Leadership M.Ed. from Miami University. Professionally, Sara exhibits great attention-to-detail as well as resourcefulness. Personally, she is highly-regarded by colleagues, family, and friends as someone others can lean on, rely on, and confide in, when needed.
