Research Interests
My research focuses on improving assessment practices in order to improve access to services for adolescents and young adults at risk for language disorders. I am focused on developing and validating assessments of social communication skills, particularly for the transition for school to work and community settings. My goals also include identifying characteristic vulnerabilities of adolescents with language disorders in order to develop screening tasks that more efficiently identify individuals with a language disorder. I would be happy to discuss collaboration with faculty or students who share related interests.
