Kathy Youngkin

Kathy Youngkin joined the ISSS team in July 2023 as an International Student Advisor. She provides support for international students on topics of immigration, academic, cultural, and personal issues.

Kathy is a proud Miami University alumna, receiving a B.A. in East Asian and Languages (China focus) and a B.S. in Chinese Education. She returned to Miami later for her M.Ed. in Special Education. Kathy has lived and traveled extensively in China through various study abroad and work trips. She has also had the opportunity to visit Canada, Italy, and Thailand.

In her spare time, Kathy can be found reading the latest fantasy or sci-fi book or covered in clay trying to make a new planter.
