Anna Cardwell

Biography

Anna Cardwell brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion to her role as an Equity and Equal Opportunity Investigator at Miami University. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration and a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership, from the University of Charleston.

Anna’s background includes conducting investigations, analyzing evidence, and facilitating resolutions in alignment with legal standards. Her prior work as a probation officer, legal intern, and women’s basketball coach strengthened her skills in conflict resolution, compliance, leadership, and organization.

Since joining OEEO in January 2025, Anna has been dedicated to advancing an equitable and inclusive campus community, supporting Miami University’s mission of fairness and respect for all.
