Kim Vance (she/her) calls Maysville, Kentucky home but was born and raised in the Xenia/Fairborn area of Ohio. She joined Miami University in November of 2019 to serve as the Director of Student Activities and The Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. In 2021, The Wilks Institute for Leadership became a part of the Office and we became the Center for Student Engagement, Activities, and Leadership. Kim has nearly 30 years of experience in higher education and student affairs. She began her higher education degree in Housing and Residence Life, transitioned to Student Activities and eventually served as a Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Outside of work Kim enjoys time with her husband and sons and their 3 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys gardening and time spent outdoors.
