Mat Hall (he/they) is a Miami University alum from the class of 2011. Having received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History, Mat went on to receive his Master's of Education at Ohio University in College Student Personnel. Currently, Mat is pursuing a doctoral degree in Miami's Interdisciplinary Studies PhD program. Mat's research focus examines the experiences of queer and trans sexual assault servivors who are navigating university systems. Other research interests include issues of queer diaspora, the impact of legislation on LGBTQ+ communities, and the intersections of arts-based practice and the narration of queer and trans histories. Mat enjoys reading, travel, and cooking. He is a dog dad to a spoiled Boston Terrier named Rupert. ~Love, Honor, Pride~
