A Place to Learn, Gather, and Discover - Opening Fall 2017

The Armstrong Student Center East Wing, formerly Culler Hall, connects to the existing center through a two-story atrium. A continuation of the original Armstrong Student Center plans, the East Wing is a key component of an ongoing revitalization along the Spring Street edge of Miami's main academic quad. This larger effort focuses on updating academic spaces and centralizing student services; learn more about East Wing below.

A Central Home for Career Services

The East Wing brings Miami's Career Services to the heart of campus, making it highly visible and accessible as it supports students in discovering their passions, matching those passions with their academic interests, and connecting them with their dream careers. Located in the lower level of the East Wing, the office will house several mock interview rooms, a flexible meeting space for workshops/seminars, and offices for the Career Services staff.

Dynamic Gathering Spaces

From informal lounge spaces, to Cafe Lux - a coffee shop inspired by the John E. Dolibois Center in Luxembourg, East Wing provides numerous opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to gather and discuss ideas outside of the classroom environment.  Additionally, the RedZone will provide a space for students to watch Miami Athletics or play billiards with friends.

Joslin Student Center Chamber & Meeting Rooms

Because the Armstrong Student Center was a vision brought to reality by the Associated Student Government (ASG), the East Wing will be home to the Joslin Student Senate Chamber.  An 88-seat auditorium, the Joslin Senate Chamber will provide crucial meeting space for ASG and other large student organizations.  In addition to the chamber, East Wing will add 8 large-group meeting rooms that provide in-demand spaces for smaller events and meetings.
