Congratulations to MJF alums who are part of the 2014 class of 18 of the last 9 Honorees. Pulkit Datta (2008), Jonathan Nielsen (2005), Beth Stebner (2008) and Ashley Mallon Walters (2006) were honored in November. Three MJF graduates presented a session while they were on campus to receive their awards titled “Where I Am Now & How Miami Helped Me Get There.” Ashley Mallon Walters is now vice president of Powerhouse Factories; Pulkit Datta is a writer filmmaker; and Beth Stebner is a lifestyle editor/digital for the New York Daily News. Nielsen is executive vice president for “Everything But the House.”

Megan Moloney (COM ‘91) is the director of Digital Media Engagement for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Prior to joining VA, Moloney worked at the U.S. Secret Service, overseeing a wide range of media and public relations activities. She served as press secretary to Adm. Thad Allen on the Deepwater Horizon response, and was the Director of Radio and Television Production for the White House Press Office.

Nicole Theodore (JRN/PSYCH ‘14) works in digital media at Playboy Enterprises in Beverly Hills, California, where her internship has resulted in a full-time job. She previously interned as a journalist at KosovaLive in the summer of 2013 with the Miami University Kosovo Program. She also interned at he Cincinnati Enquirer as a government and public affairs intern. She is the former web editor of UP Magazine and former editorial editor of The Miami Student.
