Date: March 16-17, 2019 (Spring)
Medium: Paper, mixed media
Instructor: Kathy Baxter (email)
Skill Level: All

Students will meet Saturday morning and we will begin by making sheets of paper. Students will create paintings with colored paper pulp. We will incorporate dried flowers, fabric, and other decorative objects in order to create a decorative surface. Each piece of paper will be unique with the discussion of composition, balance and subject. Working from photos of landscapes or portraits will be the focus, transforming the image to paper pulp. By the end of Saturday class, students will have experimented and composed several images using the paper pulp. And we will concentrate on designing final pieces for Sunday.

Tuition does not cover the cost of supplies and materials. Many of the workshops require you to bring specific materials or tools with you.
