Spring 2018 Featured Exhibition Opens January 30
On January 30 the Miami University Art Museum will open the new exhibition Telling A People's Story: African-American Children's Illustrated Literature. Visiting the Art Museum is free for all visitors.

US Enters Great War - April 6, 1917
The Art Museum Exhibition focuses on the 100th Anniversary of the US entry into WWI. April 6 is the actual anniversary day and we have a special program.

George Creel and the Propaganda Machine
One week after America declared war on Germany in 1917, President Wilson appointed muckraking journalist George Creel to head the Committee on Public Information (CPI). Shaiman will examine how Creel grew the small agency tasked with promoting positive images of the war to a global advertising giant that helped secure the Allied victory in 1918.
