With the excitement over this "new" approach, the basic fundamentals of learning have often been left behind. In this session we will play around with what is meant by "flipped teaching," how to set up a course that implements the best of what flipping has to offer, and how to avoid some of the common pitfalls that have recently been shown to make flipped classes flop. A fun-filled session, grounded in evidence, with serious consequences.
