Request A Career Services Workshop

Career Assistants are available to student organizations or residence halls to educate students in writing a powerful resume and/or better leveraging LinkedIn, among other topics.

To request a presentation, please complete the Career Services Workshop Request Form at least one week in advance of your workshop.

NOTE: the group is responsible for organizing the location and technology, if any, including:

  • laptop
  • projector
  • a blank wall or screen
  • any cords needed to connect the laptop and/or projector

Technology can be rented from King Library. If you have any questions, please email ca-request@miamioh.edu, noting the date, time, location, and workshop topic(s).

Career Development Course

Career Services offers a two-credit, semester-long career development course: EDL 100 - Career Development for the College Student. EDL100 is open to first-year students and sophomores and takes students through the exploration process of learning about one's self (through testing and assignments), learning about majors and careers, and learning how to find the best "fit" between themselves and potential career paths.
