Recruitment Support

Our goal is to make it easy for you to identify and connect with the ideal candidates, for both internship and after-graduation opportunities. FSB Careers and the faculty and staff of the Farmer School look forward to sharing their insights and supporting your recruitment efforts.

In addition to the services provided by the Miami University Center for Career Exploration and Success, the Farmer School offers the following support, at no charge, to all companies that wish to recruit our students:

• Job Postings, Profiles and Resumes on Handshake.
• Use of a table in the FSB Forsythe Commons for distributing information, meet & greet or other awareness, information or recruiting activity. Once each semester between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
• On-screen Promotion on all FSB plasma screens once each semester, for up to one week. We have a limit on the number of ads that may be in rotation at any time, so advance planning, especially at “popular” times, is strongly recommended.

The FSB Corporate Partner Program, a new initiative that recognizes organizations that contribute annually to support business education, may be of interest.

Participation in FSB’s Corporate Partners Program presents corporations with a wide range of benefits to maximize a strategic partnership, including access to student research and thought leadership, faculty and staff, special events, recruiting benefits, and brand awareness opportunities. • Access to a dedicated relationship manager to coordinate and customize your engagement activities

Corporate Partner $5,000

• Preferred on-campus recruiting dates (must request early)
• Participation on Career Center industry panels or in Exploration for Business Majors (BUS 206) class
• Choice of Company Day OR Classroom Sprint Project
  • Company Day
    • Branding event in the Forsythe Commons
    • Networking luncheon for students or faculty
    • Plasma screen and social media promotion of the event

    • Classroom presentations in appropriate courses
    • Meeting with the Dean/appropriate Department Chairs and/or faculty members
    • Hands-on workshop
  • Classroom Sprint Project
    • Short term (1 - 4 weeks) project or case study in an applicable course
      • Scope and details of project to be determined by faculty and company representatives

Center Sponsor $10,000/year (3 year commitment)

Executive Partner $15,000

Additional Support Opportunities

Should you wish to customize your engagement experience, we offer a variety of opportunities to do so. The list below includes many of the most frequently requested activities and events but should not be considered all-encompassing. We encourage you to meet with us so that together, we can design the best program for your company.

• Additional use of a table in the FSB Forsythe Commons $200/day
• Additional plasma screen promos $50/week
• On-Site Office $100/day
  • Dedicated private “office” in FSB for meetings with students, faculty, or as a HQ for your team. Rooms available 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
• Student “Lunch and Learn” event for 10 – 20 students - $250 plus cost of food
  • FSB Office of Career Development will help to source appropriate student attendees
• Faculty “Lunch and Learn” event for 3 -5 faculty members - $250 plus cost of food
  • Your relationship manager will help to source appropriate faculty attendees
• Faculty and Student Lunch or Dinner for 1 – 10 students and faculty members - $500 plus cost of food
• Evening Reception in Forsythe Commons (East or West) - $500 plus cost of food. 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
  • Maximum attendance 100. FSB Office of Career Development and the company share the responsibility of student attendance. The company will coordinate food w/catering.
