Kelven Moss

Position: Head Coach

Kelven Moss

Coach Moss is beginning his second season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Miami University Hamilton. After having a stellar first season as head coach, coach Moss is looking to continue to build a successful program. Moss led the Harriers to a 22-10 record and their first outright conference championship in twenty years, but came up short in the State Championship game.

He is a graduate of Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health. During his time at Cumberland University his 2003-2004 team stamped school history with the most wins 28-6, first ever conference champs, first ever NAIA national tournament appearance, and first ever making it to the NAIA sweet sixteen. The teams 2003-2004 best record still holds today. He also has earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine, California.

Coach Moss has 9 years of experience coaching basketball at the high school level. He has coached at Espiritu Community and Development High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where his team had their first undefeated season in school history. Coach Moss has also coached at Middletown High School as a junior varsity boy’s head coach, varsity boy’s assistant coach and the girl’s varsity head coach which he led his team with the most wins since 1983. Coach Moss has spent the past 7 years working as a K-12 physical education teacher at the inner city schools in Cincinnati, Ohio. Coach Moss is currently working as a Placement Specialist at Marshall High School in Middletown, Oh.

In addition, to his duties as the head basketball coach, Coach Moss also serve as a basketball course instructor at Miami Hamilton University. He is very excited to play a vital role in the development of young men in the Harrier basketball program. He believes athletics can be used to teach life lessons that can be used to help student athletes fulfill their calling into today’s society.

Coach Moss is married to his beautiful wife Lindsey, and they have two incredible children, Lakin (2) and Isaiah (10) who is all excited about the 2017-2018 Harrier basketball season.


Alex Bieri

Position: Assistant Coach

Alex Beri

Coach Bieri is starting his first season as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Coach at Miami University Hamilton. He is an independent contracted Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Strength and Conditioning Coach through the American College of Sports Medicine, and National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the International Sports Science Association. He is a graduate of Cincinnati State with an associates in Health Sciences.

Coach Bieri has 6 years of experience in training athletes from the ages of 10 all the way through 55. He has worked across all sports, with basketball strength and development being his passion. He has also coached 7th grade Liberty Boy’s Basketball in 2010-2011 Season as an Assistant Coach where he made it to the semi-finals, losing in the second round. He has helped developed many athletes in the Lakota School Program, Fairfield, Fenwick, Mason, and many others. He currently works as a Certified Personal Trainer through independent contract work at the Lakota YMCA with a large clientele base, as well as working at Explosion Fitness Solutions as a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach through independent contract work where he works with athletes spread out throughout the large surrounding area. Outside his expertise in training athletes, he specializes in post rehab exercise, correcting movement patterns, and fixing imbalances through specific exercises and strength exercises.

In addition to the above, he also attends school to further his education in the growing fitness industry that changes by the day. He strongly believes in the approach of mind, body, and soul when it comes to becoming stronger physically and mentally, two roles that are vital in a successful athlete. He is very excited about being part of the team going into the 2017-2018 Miami Hamilton Harrier basketball season.


Aaron Brown 

Position: Assistant Coach 

Aaron Brown

Aaron Brown is the Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach at Miami Hamilton University (second season). He is also currently the Director of Lincoln Heights Youth Basketball Program where he has held the position for the last 8 years. Aaron Brown has a passion for coaching and the development of players, as well as mentoring kids on and off the court. He held the manager position at Princeton High School from 2006-2009 where his team was deemed Sectional Champs and State Runner Up in (2009). In 2013 he was Lockland High School’s Assistant Coach for the Boys’ Basketball Team, after which he return to Princeton Middle School to coach the Girls’ Basketball Team (Grades 7th and 8th).
