Announcing New Regional Scholarships

New for Fall 2016!

In addition to our many donor scholarships and our Automatic Merit Scholarship, Miami University Regionals are excited to announce the following scholarships beginning fall 2016!

Transfer Merit Scholarship

  • This merit-based scholarship is for transfer students seeking to complete a bachelor degree exclusively offered through Miami University Regionals.

The Miami Difference Scholarship

  • This need-based scholarship is intended to support students with academic potential and financial need who have no grant eligibility.

The Miami Momentum Scholarship

  • This need-based scholarship is intended to support non-traditional students with academic potential and demonstrated financial need who are seeking first-time entry or returning to college after stopping out for two or more years. Awards are available for eligible students enrolling full-time or part-time.

Upper-class Dean's Scholarship

  • This merit-based scholarship is intended to reward continuing students' academic success and promote degree completion exclusively at Miami University Regionals.

The Miami Salutes Scholarship

  • This need-based scholarship intends to support active military and veteran students.

The scholarships listed offer awards of up to $1,000 annually. Scholarship awards are not guaranteed and are awarded within the limits of available funds. No separate scholarship application is required; however, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for need-based scholarship consideration. The recommended priority date for filing the FAFSA is February 1 for all students.

New and Transfer Students:

All students who apply for admission and are admitted to Miami University Regionals are considered for the general scholarships and applicable donor scholarships we award. Priority consideration for University merit scholarships will be given to students applying for admission by February 1.

Current Students:

Current Miami students will be considered for the various donor, general, and departmental scholarships available for the following year. We will automatically make award determinations by reviewing a student's cumulative grade point average and the specific eligibility criteria required for each scholarship.
