Club Sports

With 50+ dedicated teams, Miami Club Sports boasts one of the largest programs in the country. While some club sports have coaches, most are completely student-driven with advisement from coaches, advisers, and the Club Sports Office.

About Club Sports at Miami

We offer a unique combination of community and commitment while we compete for national titles and develop real-world leadership skills. Clubs are self-managed through a team of student officers with positions ranging from president to safety officer. Miami Club Sports strive to redefine the student-athlete by balancing academics, leadership, community, and athletic achievement.

The purpose of a club sport is to participate in physical activity with the primary emphasis being off-campus competition and instruction. A club sport has a conference, division, or governing body that oversees the rules and regulations associated with the sport.

Club or Intramural Sports?

Club sports teams compete against other colleges and universities, intramural sports compete on campus between other Miami students.
