Event Security
The nature of your event may require paid security specific to your group. Your event planner will consult on university requirements and assist with arranging for the necessary services.
Conference Guest Safety
Optional security detail can be arranged to meet your group’s needs. Whether requesting 24-hour bell desk for residence halls, customized patrols for event management, or our team addressing your group to prioritize personal safety, your planner can find the right mixture of services for your group.
Emergency Text Messaging for Conference Guests
Safety is very important for all of our guests. Guests and visitors to Miami University may choose to opt-in to receive emergency notifications during their time on campus. Guests and visitors may text the phrase “muguest” to 79516 to receive emergency information by text messages. To opt-out, guests and visitors may reply STOP to cancel the service.
