Five CAS students named Hannon Armstrong Climate Solutions Scholars
Five undergraduate CAS students, all seniors, have been awarded the Hannon Armstrong Foundation Climate Solutions Scholarship to help them pursue careers related to climate action and sustainability. The establishment of this new scholarship was announced in May.

2nd Annual Maude's Awards Winners Announced Including Opening Minds through Art from Oxford, OH
Maude's Awards was created to enrich the quality of life for persons living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their care partners. It provides monetary awards to organizations and individuals for innovations excelling in one of several categories.

Miami's annual UniDiversity Festival returns with live, in-person family events on September 17
Miami University and the City of Oxford once again welcome the community for the annual Latin American and Caribbean UniDiversity Festival, an evening of outdoor family fun, dance, food, and friendship. The event, free and open to the public, takes place at 5:30 pm on Friday, September 17, in Oxford Uptown Parks.

Miami's award-winning Stats + Stories podcast, celebrating its 200th episode, looks to expand its global audience
Since 2013, John Bailer and Richard Campbell have been collaborating in a public, online forum to discuss both “the statistics behind the stories and the stories behind the statistics.” This month they reached a significant milestone: the 200th episode of Stats + Stories.
