Undergraduate Studies

The College of Arts and Science (CAS) provides the core of Miami's liberal arts curriculum and offers diverse undergraduate majors and minors across the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, as well as programs that cross disciplinary boundaries. 

Responding to employers who require a smart, globally minded workforce that can creatively solve problems using broad critical thinking and communication skills, our undergraduate programs build upon a strong liberal arts education enabling students to acquire the knowledge and understanding that will serve as the foundation for their careers and the rest of their lives.

ROTC Programs

Students at Miami have access to 3 Reserve Officer Training Programs: Air Force, Army, and Navy.

Study Abroad

More than 1,500 Miami students each year earn academic credit through study abroad and study away programs.

A variety of scholarship, fellowship, awards, & internship opportunities are available to students in the College of Arts & Science. Full and part-time internships provide opportunities to explore careers, develop work skills, and build relationships with potential employers.
