Student Showcase
Studio Life
The design studio is at the heart of student life at Miami. Students live and breathe design, engaging in a vibrant, challenging and exciting peer-learning environment. They custom design their own desks and work spaces. They experiment with multiple ways of collaborative and individual learning. They challenge themselves through hands-on learning by doing. There are five studio spaces in the Department, one dedicated gallery, one workshop and multiple break out spaces students use for reviews, events and relaxing. Here's a sample of images of our amazing students.
Student Work
Students at the Department of Architecture + Interior Design engage in a wide variety of activities, studies, projects and initiatives. They are prepared for being the next generation of architects and designers. They work through and with models, sketches, digital design, life-size mock ups, computer rendering and much more. Projects range from passive house design to interior renovations, and small-scale structures to mixed-use high rise projects. Below is a small selection of work from across the Department.
