Application Process

When applying for any of these programs, you will need to provide an explanation of why you want to attend, and why you’re applying to the specific city that you have chosen. Students can intern at startups across the country on their own, so let us know what’s driving you to be part of these programs.

You’ll need to share a link to your LinkedIn profile, your resume, and ensure you have at least a 2.25 GPA, as this is required by Miami University for all Study Abroad and Study Away programs. You will also be required to release your disciplinary history to program staff as part of your application. Having a disciplinary history does not disqualify you from the application process and is taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants who are not accepted into the program may reapply for a future semester or may be considered for other program locations. A student may not apply for the same semester again if his or her first application was not accepted.

Applications for Fall 2017 are now closed, though applications for the Cincinnati Spring 2018 program are still being accepted (our San Francisco program is full for Spring 2018). Applications for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 will be open soon at the links below. If you are interested in a future semester, please contact program management.
